1st light is the beginning of a sunrise, before the sun has crested above the ocean. It is usually has the most vivid color range throughout the entire sunrise phase. 
 
This painting was captured during a mild out dwelling, hurricane Dorian. The color scheme seems unreal unique and stunning but most definetly is the resemblence of the reality of the view.
